How the results work.
Sample and real responses
Sample data is entirely synthetic and exists only to test the charts. It is separate from real submissions and will be removed before launch.
Small groups
Summary statistics are hidden until at least five actual responses match the selected filters. Emails and individual answers are never shown in results.
Allowance ranges
The survey collects ranges. Median lower and upper bounds are calculated separately, open-ended ranges remain open-ended, and no midpoint is invented. Overall cash summaries keep gifts and experiences separate.
Monthly estimates
Pay-per-meet amounts are multiplied by the reported number of monthly dates. Weekly allowances are multiplied by 52 ÷ 12. Monthly allowances remain monthly.
Currency conversion
USD views use a dated Frankfurter reference-rate snapshot. Original answers remain unchanged. This is a nominal exchange-rate conversion, not a purchasing-power adjustment. Amounts without a supported currency are excluded from amount estimates but remain in response counts.
Interpretation
These are voluntary, self-reported experiences. They describe the people who responded; they are not suggested rates and do not represent every arrangement.
